Finally a transitional coat that isn't flimsy. The structured lapels hold their shape all day even in the wind, and the oversized wrap silhouette means I can throw it over literally anything.
Looks like it cost three times this price, no exaggeration.
The sculptural lapels on this coat are so well constructed. They lay flat and hold their shape without any stiffening, which is rare at this price. I wear it over a simple black turtleneck for work and it reads as completely polished.
The brown is a true caramel in natural light, very flattering against my skin tone. I wish the belt loops were stitched a bit more securely because one of mine started to loosen after a few wears. Still wearing it constantly though.
The lace-up front closure is what sold me on this coat and it did not disappoint. It adds a really interesting visual texture that makes the whole look feel more considered. I'd give it five stars but the lining feels a little thin for anything colder than a mild spring evening.
